We went for 1 week (including labor day weekend) and it was even better than we had hoped for. We needed the rest and this place is all about that. They have air-conditioning and heat if need be, the views are spectacular and the cabin is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The hosts (Lori & Anthony) go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need when you arrive and then they let you enjoy your vacation - but - if you need them, they are right there to help you. We loved it and am sure you will as well. Looking forward to going back next year. Oh and we had "Stevie" our dog with us and he loved it too! 5 Stars all the way, enjoy!

I enjoyed a wonderful week of rest and relaxation at this well equipped, lovely waterfront house. I was warmly welcomed by Lori upon my arrival which set the tone for the week. The posted photos really don't adequately capture how perfect the location is or how well furnished the house is ~ 5 star rating!

This beautiful rental was just what we were looking for. It's location is key with gorgeous views of Lake Hopatcong. You are right on the lake and the views are breath-taking. The owner is very accommodating and very helpful. We were extremely pleased with this rental and when we come back to New Jersey, we will definitely stay here again, and again, and again.

We stayed for 10 days and had a great time. The covered patios were perfect with beautiful comfortable furniture. We brought our boat and spent most of the time exploring, fishing and relaxing on the patio. The market on the water is great for early morning breakfast sandwiches. The Lakehouse Restaurant has great food and we were able to get there by boat. The house had everything we needed and the hosts were very accommodating.

The owners of this property were available every day and attentive to our needs. The house is in a great location with beautiful views of the lake. It was wonderful to relax out on the deck and enjoy the scenery. The kitchen was well equipped, and sheets and towels were included with the rental. I would highly recommend this rental.

Although we had just come home from renting a lakehome in Tennessee, we just didn't have enough! So we looked online and were lucky to find this place was still available because they had just purchased it. We simply wanted to relax! We loved sitting out on the dock or the upper deck (which both looked brand new!) and just watch the boats go by. They have 3 lounge chairs and a table and four chairs to eat at on the dock so there was plenty of space for us. We also loved eating dinner on the upper deck right outside the kitchen. We thoroughly enjoyed the nice breezes we received from the lake from either the deck or the dock! We don't have a boating license in NJ or we would have rented jet skis but the owners had 2 kayaks for us to use and we thoroughly enjoyed using them to explore the lake. We went out on them several times. They say Lake Hopatcong gets crowded on the weekend but we didn't experience that at all. There were boats and a few jet skis but it was not crowded at all. We also got a view of the sail boat races on Sunday. The water is nice and clean and was very refreshing. There is a set of stairs to enable you to get in and out of the water easily. Every home we rented, we were supposed to wash/dry the sheets and towels before we left. This homeowner puts the sheets on the bed for you before your arrival and they wash them and the bath towels after you leave. The owners are very nice and were very responsive to our needs/questions. The property is very nicely landscaped - I will be stealing a few ideas! The upstairs has a nice sitting room with wicker chairs and the downstairs has a TV with a great view of the water! It was a perfect place for us to play cards after dinner (although we loved the upper deck as well). If you want a place for a few of you to simply relax or even bring your boat/jet skis to, this is a great place with great views and even the neighbors are really nice!
