Hotel Ascot

The rooms were really hot and the AC was not working. We complained a few times and told them that we can’t sleep as the room is too hot they just said they can’t do anything as it’s not the season for AC. This in it self is appalling for a 4 star rated hotel. On our first night me and my wife were trying to sleep and were disturbed around 1 am by two prostitute escorts knocking on our door. They were adamant they had the right room so we had to close the door on them and call receiption. We had to call a couple of times (as they were sat at the end of our corridor) for someone to finally come up and deal with them. The receptionist who came up was speaking to them like he knew them. Our whole experience was disgusting and disappointing. I will never stay here again and I don’t recommend anyone to stay here especially if your staying with family. The issues were tried to be raised with a manager but he wasn’t available ‘until tuesday’ well past our checkout and the issues were brushed under the carpet.
