Although the hotel is a little outdated, i couldn't be more satisfied with the hotel overall. I had sent them a message that i wanted the room with the best view possible because this was mine and my husband's first trip together in 8 years. They made sure i had a great view and even left a heart made of chocolates on the bed which was a nice little touch. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant there was also nice.

First stay here and definitely not last! Small request for high floor resulted in penthouse like floor with best view ever! All the basics in room but bed, pillows and towels noteworthy of a higher end hotel.

The room was spacious and clean. 2 double beds. You cannot walk to anything from the hotel since it is located between 2 bridges. Restaurant was nice although limited menu. Restaurants, supermarket, CVS are a short drive away with a parking lot.

GREAT location, just a couple of minutes from Downtown. It's very easy to Uber/Lyft across the bridge and see all the fun Charleston sights. Parking at this hotel is FREE v. Parking at the downtown hotels which is exorbitant. The tower design is nice and has some great views. Beds were comfortable, sheets comfortable, our room included a mini fridge and coffeemaker but no microwave. Very clean. Bath and Body Works toiletries were a really nice perk. Would definitely stay here again.

Very helpful and kind staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Everything seemed dated with some badly needed tlc. All in all the pros outweighed the cons and I would certainly stay there again.

Very nice Hotel with a nice restaurant on the top floor with an amazing view. Very convenient location to go to the historic site without paying the high parking prices. Excellent breakfast.

We were pleased with the hotel itself. It was clean and the "hotel" staff were helpful and friendly. The server (Jo) at dinner was amazing. She was also the bartender. She went out of her way to give us good service and make us comfortable. The food at the restaurant was very good. We had prepaid for breakfast. The food was good. It's strange that coffee was not included in the prepaid breakfast. That's hard to understand. We arrived for breakfast at 9:30. It was not busy. We were seated and then waited several minutes for someone to come to our table. We were given menus and then the server left. She did not have on an ID. It was several more minutes till she returned. She took our order. We forgot to ask for coffee. She came back with our juices. When she returned several minutes later, I asked for coffee. After several more minutes she brought a coffee pot and one cup and then left again. When we finally saw her again, which was at the other end of the restaurant, I walked to her and said that we only got one cup. She said that she thought only one of us wanted coffee. Huh??? Several more minutes went by and she came out of the kitchen with another table's food. No coffee cup for us. I questioned her about it and said, "you couldn't have brought the cup with you". To my surprise, she said "NO". So rude. As I said, we arrived at 9:30. Our food was finally served at 10:30 ... one hour after our arrival. Inexcusably poor and rude service.
