Hotel Cavour

I would say the style of this hotel is classic traditional but very tired ! The decor needs updating the furniture bringing into the 21st century and the rooms given a a bit of an over haul ! Comfortable rooms, quiet, but en-suite dated and cracks in the floor tiles!

Grotesque and full of terribly rude people. Last remodel was about 1980 and you don't want to touch your bare feet to the floor. The check in person was perhaps the most rude person in all of Italy. Breakfast was just meh. Basically just a horrible waste of money.

Location was fantastic, within walking distance to churches etc and hop on hop off bus was just down the street from the hotel. We took a suite at the hotel which was great, plenty of soundproofing so no road noise. Breakfast was the best we have had in many months, this hotel turns on a big breakfast choice. The front of house staff could not have been better. Much appreciated their guidance and assistance.

Stayed at the new wing with the new rooms. Rooms were great, modern and practical. Beds were really comfortable as well. Only complaint would be that the in-hotel breakfast is edible but not very good. But in Milan, it's easy to find a good breakfast nearby.

Lovely quiet hotel only a 10-15 min walk from the main square.
