Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando

Very old, in need of updating, smelled bad, bed bugs. I would recommend paying more for a nicer experience

Total 3 nites stay. Location with a shuttle to the Orange County Convention Center made it very convenient. Coffee machine in room and convenience store in lobby useful. Minor issues a bit annoying but resolved: trouble with getting on the wifi with own computer. Instructions from staff was confusing in 3 enquiries: Reception sent me to phone in lobby, Tech over phone asked me that service only in my room, on 3rd try, another Tech over the phone guided me through the phone while standing at the lobby phone with no resting place for my laptop. 2. Strangely, when heat was turned on the fire alarm came on. I left a written note but no one responded. I did not dare to try switch it on again. 3. They took care of my stuck door promptly in the morning. They probbly fixed the heater switch/fire alarm situation after I cheked out after I let them know face to face. they understood when told in person. 4. Cashier at convenience store did not have change and sent me to the front desk to get change before I could buy my item. Seems it could have been faster if cashier had predicted the need before the customer.

I was happy with my visit!

Was staying solo for a conference. The room was in great shape, clean, and had everything I needed. The best thing about my stay was when I checked in. The person who checked me in took the time to ask what I was doing in town, and then gave me a couple of room options that were best. She thoughtfully put me in one of the buildings closest to the convention center, which was a huge help as I was walking every day to and from. Service puts this place in the upper tier. I'd happily stay again, and will when I am in town for this conference next year!
