Absolute Hotel Paris République

Very welcoming & staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast excellent & plenty to eat!

Amazing location only a 2 mins walk from the metro; grocery store across the street; many restaurants nearby as well. Staff were nice, but the bathroom needs more ventilation, and the walls are really thin, you can hear the conversations of your neighbors. Swift check in and check out. Good place and fair price overall.

I keep coming back to this hotel because it never fails to satisfy my needs and wishes. The staff are wonderfully helpful and pleasant. The location of the hotel enables its guests to visit many Parisian attractions on foot. Every time I check out of this hotel I make a mental note of when I can return for my next visit. The Absolute is a good hotel for the price. Reading through all the negative previous reviews, I was a little worried. However, I will say, the hotel room was clean, the bedding was clean, and the bathroom was clean. The breakfast buffet was super tasty and quite generous. The hotel required a €20 deposit for a hair dryer, so I washed my hair at night, because I didn’t want to walk around Paris in December with wet hair. Also, only one, small towel per person is provided daily. Be prepared. Bring your own toiletries because the shower gel provided is the equivalent of cheap public bathroom soap. My only real complaint is that the shower is the most dangerous shower I have ever experienced. The shower itself is elevated a solid 12” and there are no steps to go up and there is no grip, the shower is super slippery. I was dealing with an injury, so I needed my fiancé to help me get in and out. This is a BUDGET hotel, and people should keep that in mind. Paris is a tourist destination, and most hotels are very expensive. With the Absolute, paying roughly $88 USD per night with breakfast included is a steal, especially for the location and accessibility to the metro and busses. We were able to get everywhere from our metro stop, and it only cost €10 per person to get to Charles de Gaulle from the metro stop. This saved us so much money getting to the hotel. If you want to visit Paris and not overpay, this is a great hotel. Otherwise be prepared to pay Paris prices.

Super nice helpful reception desk, all really relaxed. Location is nice, new bathroom, small but just fine for spending the night. Breakfast room is a little crowded, but still not a complaint. Breakfast is good, coffee machine uses weird tasting milk. I switched to double espresso. The graffiti style is something different and a cool idea. The bed was banana shape style, I believe the box spring was broke, the mattress itself was ok. The official category is a 2 Star and it was meeting my expectations. I would not hesitate to go there again.
