Extended Stay America - Orlando - Lake Buena Vista

Just not a great hotel as you have to ask for cups , silverware etc ..and it was a suite with kitchen . Friendly desk attendant but the rest was a 5 out of 10

Hotel was very run down and smelled like someone sprayed cheap body spray everywhere which gave me a migraine.

This hotel needs a serious rehab. I can understand having to ask for kitchen supplies (people will steal anything) but there wasn't an in room coffee pot or even a stopper for the bathtub. Not sure how anyone that wanted to could take a bath. The carpeting was old and stained in areas.There were bugs but thankfully not in the bed. The staff did offer to treat the room the day I told them, but I know what happens when professionals spray. ALL the bugs come out and seek safety in what hasn't been treated(my clothes or the bed). I declined and told them they could wait until I checked out. The door to the room did not close without being pulled or pushed. This was a problem because housekeeping left my room open. I came back at 10PM and just pushed my door open! Anyone could've grabbed my laptop or camera. I called the desk and told them I didn't want housekeeping again for the duration of my stay. In all fairness, the staff was very accommodating from check in to check out. The hotel itself needs to be refreshed. I expected better just based on the location in Lake Buena Vista.

Hotel was fine for the stay, bed was very hard and amenities were just ok.

There was a water leak in the room, carpet was soaked under and around bed, into bathroom and it smelled of mold. It was late when I noticed and was up early and left but told front desk there was a problem
