Scandic Gdansk

Everything about the hotel is what one should expect with a Scandic. It was clean, service was friendly, room was comfortable. It’s location across from the train station situated the hotel a few minutes walk to the main “Old Town”;might not be as convenient for some. Overall a pleasant stay and a repeat stay is likely.

Was a bit dissapointed by the customer service and reception attitude. I belive the staff was late with cleaning the rooms as multiple people were waiting at 3 PM to have their check-in completed. Hotel was expensive as per Poland prices. Rooms were nice and met the standards and expectations from Scandic hotels chain. Location was very good, walking distance from city center.

The Staff, the food and the location of the Hotel was Brilliant. Our only slight issue was we had a family room for 3 adults and no where in the room description did it say that the 3rd bed was going to be a camp bed !!

Clean, well located near the station and within easy distance of the old Town. I'm not quite sure it was four star though, whatever four star means. We had twin beds and they were fine, but not the most comfortable. They pushed away from the wall if you leaned back (no headboard and on wheels) and had a mattress topper that sometimes slipped off. Breakfast was great though. Definitely get the breakfast!

This place looks a bit dreary from the outside, but the rooms have been redone and it is a very comfortable, centrally located option. Definitely recommend it, and I would definitely stay there again.
