Nice Enough But Won’t Stay Again
I’ve stayed at this property when it was a Westin.
If you’re booking this property being familiar with the Fullerton Singapore you’ll be disappointed.
On arrival I was very warmly greeted by an older gentleman who asked me would I like help with my luggage, as he had a walking stick!!! Of course I declined, extremely odd.
Chino at check-in was very warm and genuine and had a natural professional charm.
Arriving at my room 1410 it was hard not to notice the view was a concrete bare paved area with zero view of anything. How they can even sell this as a deluxe guest room, I have no idea.
A few hours later I went out to collect dinner and on arriving back to my room, the keycard failed to open the door so had to go back to reception. There was only 1 receptionist on the desk, explained the situation, no apology, just went through the motions.
Later that evening I called to speak to the duty manager (Vivian) who was incredible and explained to me at check-in I should have been advised that room 1410 was considered a “quiet room” and the downside was not having a view. Vivian upgraded us to the 29th floor and access to the club lounge. During the room change, on arriving at the 29th floor a family of 4 had also been locked out of their room with their keycard not working!
The next evening we attended the lounge for a drink and breakfast the next morning. Staff were all incredibly helpful and service exceptional. I’m saying that, food and drink was average to be kind.
