Very impressive hotel. Close walking distance to town. Only rated 3 star due to room. The hotel windows are sealed units, so air ventilation system has to be on constant. Noisy so sleep was not great, we had to keep adjusting fan and temperature. In the end gave up and slept in my sweater. We booked two nights felt like going home next day, but cost us a lot of money. Hence would never rebook.

Firstly all the staff are wonderful and very attentive . This is the 3rd time we have stayed here and there were a few issues which were disappointing. The check in seems very late at 4pm and we actually couldn’t get in the room until 5pm. The air conditioning in the room didn’t work and we had to have a fan put in the room as the windows don’t open . We had booked a room for 3 of us and the sofa bed wasn’t sorted - so we had to call down for pillows and a duvet . We also wanted to use the pool in the morning But at 9.30am - a baby class was booked in until 12 - making the pool unavailable- which we were unaware of . The hotel is lovely and it’s Perfect to walk into Cambridge but these things were annoying and took the shine off our stay . Hopefully if we come again - we won’t have these issues

Overall good experience we had a pleasant stay The hotel is conveniently located and the big bonus is the in house basement parking (at an extra cost ) a couple of comments Could not change settings on the Airconditioning ,the water bottles on a two night stay were not replenished same with towels .

The staff were not attentive at all, standing around not doing anything whilst we're waiting at the bar or restaurant. Even asking for help, they can't do it and need to get someone else for the most basic thing! The bathrooms smelt of mould, I've got photos to support and the towels smelt like bleach. The gym and the pool were nice, that was about it. Wouldn't stay again.

We made use of the wellness centre that was clean and well stocked with towels. The meal we had in the restaurant was delicious and they were able to cater for my food allergy with ease. The location is a little out from the centre which is ideal for quietness and if you drive to the hotel. It’s circa £10-15 for a taxi from the train station. Would we stay again? Absolutely!

While the hotel is nice and the staff is great 4pm check with 11am check out is borderline unacceptable. I understand that maybe this is because of understaffing in à hotel so large and not enough time to prep the rooms. But not being able to check in before 4pm feels like a rip off.

Spacious and clean room. Connected rooms worked well for our family of five. Heated indoor pool is a big plus. We had a great stay there. I will recommend this hotel. Staff is helpful too.

Pretty hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful and desk and in restaurant where we ate a lot. Dinner was always good. . Good breakfast buffet. There was a perfume scent that was ever present in dining area and lobby that was unpleasant and as we know now very unhealthy. Housekeeping was spotty. Seems like something was missing everyday and things could be cleaner. I would get back late afternoon and room still wasn’t cleaned.
