Stay away beware
I arrived at the hotel and they told me that they were booked even though I had made a reservation and secured it threw hotels.com. They said the people before hadn’t checked out and they are staying. So check out is at 11 or 12 I can’t remember and they called me while I was on my flight at 8pm to tell me. I didn’t get the message because I was on a flight went there and via Bart. Mind you I chose this hotel because I planned on using Bart my whole trip. They ended up sending me to a different hotel at the marina away from everything. I had to Uber there and then come back to there hotel for the second night. My whole trip was ruined due to this. Really will never consider coming back and if your planning on booking this place beware that you may not have a place to stay and have hours figuring out where your going the next night. There were no answers about the second night up until my checkout of the Berkeley marina hotel. This hotels staff has issu with not only booking but communication and arrangements. Also I have never had a trip be so affected by a shady hotel before. Don’t go here. And don’t keep this hotel as an option, this place needs to be shut down.
