Belambra Les 2 Alpes 1800

Stayed with a group of friends and children for a week skiing in Feb half term. Check in was easy, staff very helpful all week. The rooms are clean and comfortable, nice bathroom. If I was being very picky I'd say a little more drawer space would have been useful. Hotel restaurant was very good. Breakfast was amazing, buffet dinner also good and you can have fondue in the cosy bar. It is a little way away from the main town but we had a car and parking by the hotel is free and plentiful. Hotel is at the foot of the Village ski lift, a fairly quiet lift, just a few minutes walk from the hotel. You can buy ski passes at reception. Public swimming pool is under the hotel and you can buy discounted tickets from reception. Good, all round accommodation that suited us perfectly.

First we have been contacted by the hotel two days before leaving, to tell us that due to a bug in their system, there aren’t room available for us. After some negociations, they have proposed us to let us sleep in the « similar » room in a different hotel and offered some more extras to compensate... (some quick wins...) We spent 2 nights in the other hotels, and two nights in the mercure. The two nights in the other hotels weren’t similar at all: breakfast, room facilities and hotel facilities weren’t the same at all, and also the price wasn’t the same. After the two first nights in the first hotel, we had to do our check out at 10:00 AM, and got our rooms in the mercure at 5:00PM after requesting the staff manager... not a good experience at all. The only thing we kept hearing was « sorry » and « there are other groups than you so you need to understand... », we didn’t felt welcomed at all in this hotel! We were a group of 13 people celebrating a birthday all together, we had a great week together, but it would have been definitely better if the Mercure would have know how to manage their customers fairly...

We have loved staying at this hotel! The staff (including Thibault at reception) were very helpful and friendly. We can recommend this hotel.

Hotel was not 4 star as advertised. More like 2 star. Lifts out of operation for duration of our stay- on 5th floor! Bathroom not working and forced change of room. Public areas need good revamp and breakfasts were basic with little choice. Saving grace were the magnificent views of the Alps

Hotel was more like a 2 star than the 4* as advertised. Public ares were dowdy and worn, lifts were not working throughout our stay- try lifting heavy gear up 5 floors! Breakfast was basic with very limited choice. Bathroom didn’t flush although they did move our room when this was pointed out. Not a particularly good choice. On the up side the views were terrific. Bathrooms were fine although the toiletries which should have been screwed to the wall, hung off and did on occasion hit you a sore one as they fell. Staff, other than the manager, not helpful. I would not recommend this hotel

Very pet friendly, comfortable, if not lavish room. Great view from room with a tiny balcony. It was challenging to find the first time, because the road actually goes through parking garages, but once you realize its a road and not a garage its easy. People were nice, we chose not to eat in the evening, the buffet was unexciting and there are good options in town (a very short drive). Fresh air and beauty and nice staff were are favorite things.

Personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Hôtel très propre et bien situé avec très belle vue sur la station.

In en uitchecken ging vlot. Accommodatie was net en proper. Prima ontbijtbuffet. Wel afgelegen, maar gratis shutllebus naar centrum of auto nemen. Gratis overdekt parkeren.

Vi var ett sällskap på 13 personer. Vi fick en helt fantastisk service. Hotellpersonalen ordnade transporter, middagsbokningar, extra måltider när vi var sena till middagen och mycket annat. Frukosten var mycket bra och kvällsbuffén helt OK.
