Quest Canberra

Wouldn't recommend, the pictures don't look like the place. It's quite run down and not terribly clean. The bathroom reaked of sewage and tons of stains everywhere.

While kitchen and laundry facilities were very good, the noise from nearby venues kept me awake throughout the night. Also, the furnishings and carpet are looking very tired.

The apartment was perfect for us, spacious and beautiful big corner balcony. A great variety of restaurants right out the front door. Unfortunately the traffic and loudness of yelling (and sometimes screaming) people in the street made it impossible to have a great sleep.

Reception opens to late, and closes to early. Doesn’t help if you need anything when checking out early.

Very clean and functional room. Not much space but idea if being used just to sleep. The shower was either freezing or scalding and fluctuated the entire time. Staff were super friendly. On-site parking was extremely convenient and very reasonable priced.

Very good and clean I like that We will come again

The room was absolutely filthy. I arrived and the only toilet paper provided were two almost empty rolls - I couldn’t believe they didn’t even change them during COVID for a new guest! I thought that would have been a requirement for hotels. There were stains all over the lounge, carpet and curtains. There were hairs on the bed linen. It was awful. Once again, during COVID I would assume cleaning standards would have to be a lot higher. I complained at reception and they said there was nothing they could do because there were no other rooms available. I contacted Wotif to get a refund for my second nights stay and they said they couldn’t do anything and I would have to handle the matter myself. I left in the morning and booked at a new hotel. I’ll never stay with any Quest property again, nor will I book through Wotif.

Nice spacious, clean and well kept apartment in an excellent location

The parking is expensive at $20 per night and its not even undercover, you have to manually unbolt a bollard (in the pouring rain mind you) every time you want to take your car out and return it. The hotel is situated above a pub therefore all night we were kept awake by rowdy drunk people yelling and screaming. The air conditioners hardly worked and the beds were hard and uncomfortable. The only pleasant part was the lovely desk concierge who was very apologetic to our issues. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here.

Stayed for 3 nights, postive aspects were proximity to food and shopping centre, staff were quick with service for housekeeping needs, bathroom modern, large verandah, full kitchen which was great with kids. Negative aspects were noisy pub below, lounge furniture needs upgrade. Overall good stay for value 😊
