Disappointed
We just stayed at the hotel for one week and concluded that we were overall disappointed with the hotel.
We arrive late in the evening and is checked into our room rather seamlessly. After opening the door and having a checking the room we concluded with the room not being totally clean. We expressed this to the front desk which immediately sent housekeeping to our room to clean. A great and quick response however should not have been necessary.
The morning after we had breakfast at the hotel buffet. A decent selection of food, but too many people for such a small buffet area. Always crowded and people pushing to get their food.
After a long day at the very nice beach area we get back into our room and find our room yet again not clean. This time we clean the room ourselves and tell the front desk which sends us a supervisor that comes and checks our room everyday. A great response, and we also get new cleaning personnel assigned to our room.
The stay got better after this, thanks to Rose for keeping it clean.
Throughout the stay you can feel this used to be a luxury 5 star hotel. However the rooms are old, bathrooms are visibly used and the hotel is a bit outdated.
For this price, the name and its reputation the hotel disappointed.
