Great location could use improvement
I like this place and it’s possibly the best in the area. However their wi fi is truly disappointing (a lot of effort and very slow) and the free breakfast could use some fresh fruit other than the apples (even a banana would help). There were no lights in the dining space and the waffle maker was unavailable. Although it was clean the place could use some updating. The location is great, everything within walking distance.

Quaint hotel
Very friendly. Excellent reception. Enjoyed complimentary wine tasting. All good except for a few ants we discovered in the bathroom.

The only complaint is the property had a rooftop patio that showed better in the pictures online. But when we got there it wasn't the same..there were no heaters and propane fire wouldn't start..

Nice place to stay. The sunroof was great with a view of Morro Rock! Perfect location - short walk to the Embarcadero.

The bathtub had ants, mold around faucet and in grout, the shower head needed to be cleaned. The curtains in the room had holes everywhere. The room smelled like ...idk...feet / musky..... The staff and treatment is what and why we always come to the ascot for our anniversary. The staff is amazing. The food for breakfast equally as good... My only suggeation fix the minor things and this to us is first class!!
