Stayed in March 2018
Lovely hotel although it looks spooky from outside. All the stafff were very friendly especially in the bar and restaurant. Waitress for our 2 evening meals was excellent and good sense of humour during family dinner on 3rd night. Great view from the shower in room 8. Breakfast a bit overpriced but full English very good. Had trouble with WiFi in room but understandable as at top of house. Lovely grounds but too muddy to walk far due to recent weather.

Place as expected from advert. Great service! Mum got a free upgrade as they saw she was disabled. Impressed. Very friendly and tentative staff.

The Kitley experience
Nice period hotel, gorgeous grounds, lovely helpful staff. Everywhere was clean, tidy & warm. My room was smaller than the one shown in the advertisement photo therefore I suggest giving the hotel a ring first to clarify what you are getting if size matters. The power shower was brilliant. It did't matter about the room size as it was purely for sleeping over. The breakfast is a different price to the one advertised on Hotels.com & I prefer to pay one price and eat as much or as little as I like rather than choose between Full English & Continental :) I used my Tesco points via Hotels.com, this makes the stay an absolute bargain not to be missed.

Kitley is one of out favourite hotels has period features with open fires wood pane eking splendid staircase.Staff are excellent from reception through to bar /waiting staff.Meals excellent also nothing not to recommend
