If not for the F&B staff this would be 5 star
Great resort amenities, location and pretty fabulous lagoon pool and the reception/ Front of House staff were lovely.
Sadly that's not enough for 5 star prices when for our 4 days we had unfailingly abysmal service at the food and beverage venuesvat a 2 star level.
Please do not blame on understaffing when the pool barman is left alone leaving a 20+ minute wait to get even a bottle of water because his colleague takes his lunch break - at peak 1pm lunchtime. No fill in or back up manager to be seen.
The Vue restaurant staff while well meaning had poor comprehension and communication. They also served courses in the wrong order two days in a row, would make much unecessary work for themselves bringing every individual item on long trips back and forth between the kitchen - cup of coffee one trip, milk for the coffee one trip, juice one trip. Crying out for training or an F&B manager who cares , this one does not.
Fix this and you have a wonderful resort.
