Best Western Cedar Park Inn

Good location, very comfortable room with no noise. Had a great night sleep. Will stay again.

Pretty good although the coffee machine was not working and there was no fridge in our room.

The staff were very pleasant and the beds were clean but everything else is quite dated. The elevator felt unsafe and was dirty and looked grungy. The stairwell was also very direct and poorly lit. The breakfast pack was minimal and the slice of cold ham wasn’t very appealing.

The cedar Park inn is an older hotel but the rooms are comfortable and they've done some renovations and upgrading recently, including the bathrooms. The shower had a nice subway tile surround. All in all it was a comfortable stay.

I hope others may be warned from my experience before they book a room here. The front desk staff may seem professional, but they lack general hospitality. When we checked in past 9pm, due to the Covid pandemic, there weren’t many guests. Of all the rooms they gave us a room which did not have a working air conditioning unit. It would heat up the room to be configured temperature on the thermostat but it couldn’t cool down the room if you reduce the temperature. When we entered the room, the room’s temperature was set to 25 deg. It didn’t feel too hot at the time, but within 2 hours we couldn’t take it anymore. We tried to adjust the settings of the thermostat to see if it would help, but none of the settings allowed cold air to flow in. We couldn’t sleep through the night, woke up at 4 am and ended up ruining our morning. Since a good night sleep is the most critical aspect of staying in a hotel room, I considered this unacceptable for the price we paid. We were tired from our drive in to town. When I complained the next morning, he argued that I did not configure the thermostat right. We got another room the next day. While checking in, the staff said breakfast time was between 6:30 am to 9:30 am. I picked up breakfast for us on the first day at exactly 9:15 am. However on the second day, a different front desk staff said that it ends at 9 am and clearly refused to offer it to us at 9:15. I could tell that they lack hospitality and was trying to save a few bucks.

The check in was quick, they were clear about what was expected around covid. They changed out the hair dryer that didnt work within 20 mins of the call to the front desk, they provided extra towels without question. We felt very safe there. Pricing around the upgrade on the breakfast was confusing but the food itself was great.

We were upgraded from a standard room to a king room suite. It was lovely. Everything was very clean and we were comfortable. My only critique was the food. The hot breakfast provided the next morning was sub optimal. However, it was complementary and that was very nice. The Staff were wonderful and accommodating. We have stayed there before and would stay there again. The price was average meaning we didn’t notice a difference in price from a previous stay pre-Covid. We thought it might be less because of Covid but it wasn’t. The inn itself was very quiet and in the parking lot - fairly empty.

We are a group of musicians do a reality show during these Covid times and ROBIN at the feint desk was nothing short of brilliant!!!!

Great location if you have a car. Restaurants nearby. Only slight negative was noise from railroad on east side of building.
