Cold coffee
We arrived on a cold night and found cold coffee in the lobby and in the room there was only decaf coffee packets. In the morning, the coffee was cold and ran out of it . The eggs, sausage were cold also. The only warm item offered in the morning of 12 degrees was a waffle which was good.

Improve breakfast
I thought everyone was very nice and accommodating. It looked like the toilet was not inside the bowl but everything else was good. Their breakfast was okay. They served sausage 2 days in a row and no eggs on the 2nd day, just cold hard boiled eggs. The first day the egg patties were cold as well as the sausage.

Clean, Comfortable and Very Nice
Beautiful and clean hotel with very nice staff. Country setting with cornfields on both sides of the hotel. Desk staff told us where we could go for ice cream and nicely answered other questions. Everything was clean and neat.

Everything was fine inside the hotel. The surrounding area has one fair restaurant, and a couple fast food which are below average even for fast food places. You'll need to drive to Galena or elsewhere for a decent meal.

Highly recommend
Great pool and hot tub. We were there in a slow season, so it was nice to have them to ourselves. Nice fireplace in lobby and a lending library. Bed was very comfortable, chairs in room were comfortable, over all very good stay. Breakfast was not exciting to say the least but the seasonal decorations on the tables were a nice touch.
