Ok for a short stay
One of the reasons we booked this hotel was because of the rooftop pool. The pool was closed and we were not given any advance warning about that. We were allowed to use the pool at the sister hotel across the road, but that is not the same thing and it did not look very appealing.
We were very disappointed with our room. It was on the main floor with no outside window. There was a window to the inside of the hotel, but because the room was on the main floor the curtain couldn't even be opened. The room smelled bad and felt damp when we first got there, but I think that may have been because it was just cleaned. I didn't smell the bad smell later in the day, so either it was from the cleaning, or I just got used to it.
The hotel is quiet at night, but it was not quiet in our room in the morning because we could hear the staff arriving and cleaning the lobby area. We only stayed for two nights so it was bearable. But if staying for a longer period of time I would suggest NOT staying on the main floor.
The good things about the hotel are the location (close to the beach and restaurants but in a quiet spot), very friendly front desk staff and concierge, the tv and air conditioning worked, there's a safe in the room, and the ability to use the beach chairs at the sister hotel Playa Los Arcos.
