Breakfast?
Overall it was a great stay, however their 'breakfast' was not worth the extra room rate. I understand Covid restrictions limit food options but they had nothing to offer that wasn't carb-loaded or full of sugar and even those were limited. I may have stayed somewhere else and budgeted for going out to breakfast had I known.

Good hotel, but the slamming doors should be fixed
Clean hotel, for the most part quiet, and I would stay here again. The main problem I had with it was the fact that when a neighbor's door slammed shut, it rattled the room and woke me up more than a few times. I believe that hotels have lately installed some device to slow the closing of doors so that they are not quite as loud. The hotel is also not located near restaurants or stores you can reach by foot.

Overall my stay was just right. I especially appreciated the cleanliness and good condition of the room. I also appreciated having a fridge/freezer combo and a microwave, far better than just a tiny mini-fridge. The drip coffee maker also was a plus, better than those Keurigs you now see in many hotels. The check-in also was a plus, as I requested a change in room to be closer to an elevator, and the clerk quickly found that for me. The only disappointment was the breakfast -- due to covid, they just offer little pastries, boxed cereal, yogurt and fruit along with coffee/tea - nothing like the hot breakfast described on the website. They have a beautiful large meeting area ready to accommodate the breakfast once it returns, but for now, not satisfying.

We didn't end up staying at the hotel. We checked in when we arrived at 9 pm, and they gave us a room with an adjoining door. There was a group having a party next door that was so loud we couldn't enjoy our space. It also smelled like cigarettes. So instead of settling in, we just took off. The only good thing was the front desk receptionist. His name was Phillip. He took really good care of us. We had stayed here before and it was fine. This time it wasn't for us. Not sure we'll go back.

Clean rooms, pool was open and heated, whirlpool was still closed due to COVID restrictions, masks required in the hotel. Continental breakfast was open but a hotel employee put your choices in a bag rather than everyone touching it- just your basics fruit, danish, muffins. Great location!

Meh...
It was fine. The cold packaged breakfast was disappointing. Our friends stayed at a nearby hotel for less money and had hot breakfast. Breakfast burritos and pancakes. La Quintas breakfast was like going to the 7-11 and picking packaged goods. Also, the pillows were very hard. We’ve stayed here before and everything was great. I guess we can blame COVID-19.
