Loved the property loved the staff they were pleasant and made the stay worthwhile. Just make sure that your last day everything is packed. I was rushed out the room so fast that I forgot my bag with everything in it and had to go through way to much to get it back at the airport. Overall stay was amazing would go back!

I made a last-minute booking at Royalton CHIC and was told during check-in that an employee would ensure the room was ready. The employee confirmed it was, but upon checking, I found the minibar empty and no soap in the bathroom. I called the front desk and politely asked for both. After 20 minutes, no one came. I called again—still nothing after another 20 minutes. After a third call and nearly an hour later, someone finally replenished the minibar and delivered soap. While I appreciate that a manager later apologized and attempted to make amends, the overall experience did not reflect the standard I expected, especially from a resort of this caliber and price point. The basic expectation of a ready room and timely service was not met, and unfortunately, I regret choosing Royalton CHIC for this trip. This delay made us late for dinner and left a poor first impression. The room should have been properly stocked and inspected before our arrival. I understand it was a last-minute booking, but that should not affect the level of service provided. I regret choosing Royalton CHIC for this stay, and I hope they take this feedback seriously to improve service standards for future guests.

Royalton CHIC is a beautiful hotel, we loved the welcoming, atmosphere and the hospitality. We upgraded and got the best oceanic experience along with the best butler, Carl. Carl made our vacation a truly special and wonderful experience. We will certainly return.

The food at the resort is not good. The buffet is very limited and the options they do have are not good. On multiple occasion our food was cold. The steakhouse severely undercooked my steak to the point it was purple. The other restaurants were very bland. Some food was just ok nothing great. Lunch is incredibly limited with the food truck and it was frustrating that the carribean restaurant menu doesn’t change from lunch to dinner. It’s irritating that every restaurant has to have reservation for dinner. Our reservation would get canceled and some places were even closed on the day we had reservations. Some staff is friendly but some staff simply couldn’t care less about their work. When we checked in we had 2 queen beds even though I requested a king 2 months ahead and received confirmation. The staff at the front desk was incredibly rude and dismissive of my request. I spent 2 hours arguing with them as we did not want 2 small beds on vacation. They told me the hotel was completely booked, then they said they could maybe move us in a few days, then finally moved us to a king room. However the experience was unpleasant as the staff essentially argued with me and was very rude. When we were checking out the staff didn’t even care to ask how the stay was. The people at the pool counter were also rude and almost always ran out of towels by 12pm and wouldn’t bother to get more so we just didn’t have towels for the day. Property is not worth the price.

The property was nice in terms of walkability. Dining options are limited, as you cannot make reservations prior to your entrance, and certain restaurants are closed certain days of the week. It was nearly impossible to get into the steakhouse, which ended up being our favorite. We could not get a reservation through the app or the TV there—had to have the hostess take down our info on a paper for 3 days from our check in. Jerk chicken by the pool was good—long lines though. It was very quiet, which was nice, but also could have had a few more activities available. We liked the aqua fit class, especially with Elvis. It was nice not having to fight for chairs at the beach or pool, but I did hate that they would often run out of towels. They don’t give out towel cards, so you can get as many as you want, which is nice, but then there’s so many towels in the used towel area because of the intermittent rain storms or frequent use, that then there’s often none left in the towel hut. Bartenders were great…Kourtney did a great job and was always smiling. We reported that there were a few cockroaches right outside our hotel room, none to be found in our room. I get it is a tropical island, but there’s often food left outside on the ledges of our building for several hours (we stayed in the 1000 building), and there are a lot of trash bags just on the other side of the stone wall. Little response by guest services. Also saw some of the ceiling fall outside the Haven grill.

Disappointing as majority of the staff were very unfriendly and rude. We would wait for drinks at the bar for 10-20 mins and get ignored. At the food truck I asked if they had any chicken wings and the staff member got angry at me for asking, saying they have jerk chicken which aren’t wings and to not mistake those as wings. I was so confused and caught off guard. No manager or higher up staff member was monitoring their staff to ensure proper service. Food was unfortunately terrible. The dinner at the buffet, haven grill, and Olympus were the only decent options. At the breakfast buffet, it was the same every day with little variation. I took a bite of the eggs and noticed there were egg shells in it. Rooms were fairly clean, a few mosquitos and gnats. Room service and extra water bottles were requested but never received. We did enjoy the beach, pool and spa. The vibe crew was a blast and were the only kind staff members we met! Overall wouldn’t recommend, will not be staying at another Royalton.

This resort was amazing! All the restaurants and food were great, I even enjoyed the buffet. All the staff were great and very polite, welcoming, and helpful! Alicia was especially helpful and went above and beyond to help us book excursions that weren't offered by the resort. She also walked us right to our room and showed us where everything was and she always booked any taxis we needed to go anywhere we needed. I also suggest checking out Shirley heights, it's beautiful and a great experience but be careful with the rum punch, it's homemade and much stronger than you think! LOL Overall Antigua is a great island and this resort was amazing! 10 out of 10 for everything!

I had an amazing time there. The beach is few feet away from the rooms. Every night there was great entertainment. Staff there were all great! Would definitely stay there again.
