Fawn at reception was superb, she went above and beyond - delivering the greatest customer service. The hotel was overall good. There is a large private car park, the adjoining restauraunt provides really great food. The hotel room itself wasn't the most clean, and the bed was very uncomfortable, but for the price I paid, I would say that is reasonable.

The room was very comfortable and location was great. The front desk person who checked us in was very nice. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a baby. We didn't try the pub next door but I'm sure it was great. The only complaint is that the bathroom grout had some mildew and should be cleaned a bit better to make it look cleaner. Otherwise great value and location. I'd definitely stay there again.

Good points: 1. Hotel was clean and tidy 2. Room was very clean 3. Staff were very helpful and friendly 4. Breakfast was great 5. Plenty of parking 6. Great location and very peaceful Bad Points: 1. Bed was not that comfortable 2. The room was very hot with no A/C 3. Room is a little dated Enjoyed our brief stay and for the price, very impressed.

I didnt expect a top rated hotel especially as it was a very good deal . But what i got was a very good experience, frienly staff, in a great position by the canals.. and good choice of music!!

Well furnished rooms but on this stay there was quite a bad smell coming from the bathroom. Movement from upstairs carries quite loudly into the ground floor rooms so every step and floorboard creak heard below.

The buffet breakfast has changed. Now you have to order to a rationed amount. I asked for 4 rashers of bacon as I dont like the sausages. I was told I could only have a maximum of 3. Am I being unreasonable as I only have generally 1 egg and 4 bacon, no cerals or anything else?

My first time visiting here, I arrived a little early so went upstairs to have lunch where the soft play is with my children. Found out later by another member of staff that I should of got 20% off my food due to staying at the hotel but the staff at soft play said because I hadn't yet checked in yet I didn't qualify which personally I think is ridiculous, they also told me not sure check in my car reg with them had to wait till I checked in at the hotel. Lots of misread information from the team up at the soft play, also got my food order wrong and didn't come across very friendly or happy to help! However Amanda at the hotel reception was very kind and helpful, even managed to get us free breakfast the next morning which was super helpful considering I was on my own with 2 little children.
