person checking me in took over 50 minutes to check in the 5 customers in front of me. Then the next evening, those same people were in line in front of me again because their reservations were incorrect. I was in line again because my key was only coded for one night instead of two.

The stay was fine however I was told that a pet friendly room had to be specified. Hotels.com has to be aware of this policy for future bookings.

Beautiful hotel, very friendly and accommodating staff, highly recommend. We were leaving at 5am and receptionist made up breakfast bags for us!!! Wonderful place!

Check in took forever. Room smelled so heavily of Febreze we had trouble sleeping. No decaf coffee though breakfast decent. Wouldn’t rush back.

We had been driving the last 10 hours and were turned away because we had one additional 10lb cat with us. Their website mentioned nothing about their specific pet policies, just that pets are allowed, and no one would answer the phone so I could ask. We ended up staying at a hotel that doesn’t even allow cats by putting down a deposit. It was amazing how much more accommodating they were. Blew my mind after the experience and service/attitude from the front desk at country inn, they wouldn’t work with us at all.

This hotel isn’t unique in the fact that the COVID effects are not good for the hotel industry. From lack of employees to clean the common areas and normal housekeeping protocol. It’s time to go back to normal because this hotel had a severe lack of cleanliness in the hallways, stairways, and throughout. It was obvious no cleaning is being kept up. Dirt and mud were tracked from foot traffic (I’m sure there were workers staying there…no big deal, but cleaning wasn’t happening). So, basically we are doing all of these things to safeguard against COVID, yet the most basic hygiene concepts are being ignored in lieu of COVID, COVID, COVID….Making guests put latex gloves on to eat breakfast? Dumb, when all of the other areas are not kept to the same standard…yes it’s food, but what other restaurants make you do this? I don’t pay money to be treated like some infected biohazard. It’s time for common sense, hotel CEOs! Stop making your customers do ridiculous things that are paying your revenue. You will soon regret it, if this junk continues.
