great, as always

Our stay was good. We were somewhat surprised just how small the room was and that there was a sliding frosted glass door to the bathroom which is about 1’ away from the bed, so not too much privacy, but otherwise it was a good hotel.

Very expensive period in NYC so paid over 400 dollars a night - this is in no way justified for the standard of accommodation- staff are lovely and really helpful but the rooms are awful - tiny claustrophobic. Also really cold even with very noisy heating on.

This is a very basic hotel with few amenities. It offers the bare essentials, a decent bed, tiny desk, chair and tiny but serviceable bathroom. Its appeal for me was location, convenient to Grand Central, a major transportation hub. Upon preparing for my departure, I accepted the hotel clerk’s assurances that the airport shuttle he recommended (and received a kick-back for booking) would pick me up at the appointed hour and deliver me to the airport in 60 mins. . He was wrong on both counts. And the shuttle driver was not to blame. He said I should never have been promised a one hour door-to-door trip, it never happens. So the clerk oversold the service in order to get his cut on the ride, leaving me anxious about making my flight.

The pillows were so thin I had difficulty sleeping. Always stay at Pods when in NY and love them, but that wasn't so great. Still will stay again.
