Lagos Continental Hotel

Both Charging Plugs next to Bed was not working, then light kept going on and off and could not sleep. Last straw was when I got electrocuted by exposed live wire f the table lamp. If I had water on my hand what would have happened to me.

It was very very good like it was online

Some stuff were rude and others were nice and helpful

Great location but needs refreshing the paints in the suites as the rooms are looking tired. Very willing and friendly staff, extremely helpful and professional.

Not welcomed by anyone other than security upon check in. Had to get reservations to check us in. Fine. Got to the room, a bit outdated and in need of touch up paint. The bedsheets had stains and so did the pillow sheets. I requested a new sheet and laid it over the whole bed. The new sheet was clean. Fine. Requested extra towels and was told none are available. dessert from lobby was $10 and stale and dry. Ceiling had water damage. No knats or flies which was great. Breakfast buffet is not worth price at $30 and items tasted different depending on cook (not in a good way).They had plenty of staff and they were nice overall. It is overpriced for sure, but will stay again for a lower rate. Not worth $200 a night.

Good and comfortable

Stayed at this hotel recently. Amazing view, impeccable decor, incredible staff. But a few things: 1) There was a “service charge” of $46, a “consumption tax” of $23, and VAT of $23, for a total of $92. These are “added” costs and I was there for essentially two days. The value $92 is almost half the cost of a room! And these are added fees, not actual cost of food! Therefore, I’d advise anyone deciding to visit this hotel, DO NOT eat/order anything at all at the hotel so you can minimize those first two fees. B) The buffet dinner cost $70. Yup, that’s right. 70 bucks. I was used to buffets much much cheaper than that, so I assumed this was the case, headed into the buffet, had half a plate and called it a night. When I saw the bill my jaw almost dropped. Might as well eat the whole place down. So, another piece of advise, DO NOT(and I repeat, DO NOT) eat the buffet at this restaurant unless you’re in the business of eating more than $70 worth of food. I’d advice either buy $70 worth of food from outside(which I guarantee you can’t finish), or come hungry and eat more than $70 worth of food at the buffet. Never heard of such a buffet cost in my entire life! Defeats the idea. C) Other than the two mentioned items above, the view is second to none in Lagos. The room space is incredible. Staff are delightable and pleasant. Amenities are well-maintained and clean. If you have a healthy wallet and access to food from outside(uber), this is certainly the place to lodge.

Did not like that I had to ask for towels, but the staff and service was good overall.

Super good we stay in othe hotel call Golden tulip Festac that is hell and continental is heaven indeed.Good job you guys !! Show the world how professional I are ❤️

Worn down hotel rooms and bad service made for a not great experience. Will not return.
