We loved our stay here that we decided to stay another night. Gracious, loving hosts. Their property and home was beautiful. At 5 pm each night they have a tasting of the wines they produce and only sell to guests. The rooms were nice with a large bathroom and shower with two shower heads. They also had a small kitchenette with everything you need. If you stay two nights or more they provide you with breakfast provision to make at your leisure. You won’t regret your stay here. They also have a pool and hot tub to use.

Fantastic place great experience

This place what it says on the can. - it is luxury Accomadtion Lovey vineyard in a great location - 20 minutes by Car from Napier Tremendous hosts and with only 4 rooms a very relaxed atmosphere Try the lamb BBQ - superb The winery tour in the 5 lt mustang is incredible We wished we had booked it for several more nights!

Wonderful winery accomodation

Wonderful accomodation- very clean, modern and comfortable. The scenery at the retreat is beautiful - it is like a piece of paradise. The hosts are warm and hospitable and are very keen to attend to every need. Yummy, fresh, generous breakfast provisions are provided. Would highly recommend Kiwiesque Retreat. PS - they make wonderful wine as well.

Retreat in the vineyards

Kiwiesque is set amongst the Esk Valley vineyards. It is a modern, high quality, relaxed environment that still maintains a homeliness about it. There is a terrific communal area we were too busy to use during Art Deco weekend, but would be great for groups.

Did not live up to our expectations!

Very disappointing!! Having read such wwnderful reviews of how welcoming andfriendly Justine and Bayden are we did not find this applied to us. The location is lovely and the accommodation is too, plenty of room to relax in the lounge and around the pool. However attention to detail is lacking. Th provisions for breakfast were insufficient for our stay and the bread in the fridge was 5 days out of date. The room is not cleaned during your stay which we would expect of any accommodation particularly in this price bracket. The bedspread had stains on it, the shower gel ran out after one day and the pool and spa had dirt in the corners. we were given extra breakfast items on request and the bread was exchanged for fresh. We read in the room information that breakfast items are provided on the first day but by then you are staying there, There is no mention of this on the web site. The room information say that you will be offered a wine tasting and nibbles, we were not. The website says that a bottle of wine is in your welcome basket, it was not. The shower gel was topped up again on request. The hosts will no doubt say that we are very picky but we do expect daily room service and provisions to enable us to wash and eat breakfast for every day of our stay wihout having to ask, after all this accommodation does cost £150 a night.

Beautiful Honeymoon

We had the most amazing stay at Kiwiesque! The location is stunning and we couldnt have had a more peaceful enjoyable experience. Justine was so kind and was a great host. I highly recommend visiting Napier and staying at Kiwiesque during your visit.

You Can't Go Wrong

What a gorgeous place in a gorgeous location. It's great being so close to Napier and yet feeling like you're in the peaceful countryside. We loved listening to the friendly sheep in the paddock next door. Justine was friendly, welcoming and went out of her way to be the consummate host. Our room was beautifully styled in a French Provincial manner and had a fabulous ensuite. It had everything you could ask for as a self contained room. We just loved looking at the vineyards from our outdoor patio and from the divine shared living space..... And the shared deck and pool. Kiwiesque is really cleverly designed so you're not overly aware of other guests. Overall a highlight!
