When we first tried to check in, she could not find our reservation. But, she was able to make it work and even saved us a couple dollars.

We stay here once or twice a year and love it! A super cool old building that is centrally located. Walking distance to shops, breweries and our favorite Fort George Brewery for dinning inside or out.

I’ve probably stayed at this property close to 20 times under previous Managment/ownership. This was my first and most likely last time now that it has become Selina. 1. Starting with miscommunication between Expedia and Selina. I received a last chance to check in email prior to my stay from Selina so I called to confirm my Expedia reservations was what the hotel had, the front desk guy couldn’t be bothered to check into it and said sometimes they just send those emails. Also alerts from Expedia saying check out time was 11:30 vs. the hotel saying 11 etc. there is is no consistency. 2. The street is pretty loud and there was a lot of noise going on in front of our window, no problem I’ll ask for ear plugs. Nope they don’t have earplugs or any little amenities they used to have not even simple things like a pen and paper to keep score in a game (they offer board games in the lobby). No more happy hour in lobby. 3. The nightstands were sticky and the blanket on the bed was worn and had holes. They used to have super great bedding. 4. My biggest issue is it is advertised as having parking. Typically parking near the hotel on the street is very hard to find and only 15min or 2 hour spaces. Upon arrival I find out not only do they not have their parking lot anymore but parking included means you can park on the street and move your car before they tow in the morning. Absolutely ridiculous to count street parking as parking included.

Great town, great hotel.

Love staying here, 5th time overall and it’s always the first on my list when visiting or passing through Astoria. Love the staff, love the vibe and ambiance of the whole place. The suit rooms have great views. Only thing is it’s right next to a busy road and it’s an old building. Little loud at times, but overall it’s a great place.

I liked that room felt homey and did not smell like cleaning stuff. With Covid-19 pandemic to use shared bathrooms and shower is not safe. But other that then everything was good.

Everything was fabulous. Room was comfortable and clean. The staff was very helpful. Loved the location and ability to walk to all the local attractions and had a nice hike up into the neighborhoods around downtown. As advertised it is very noisy during the night but we knew that going into it so were not surprised. Plus they provide ear plugs. Thanks for a great stay.

The building was beautiful, staff was friendly, clean room, common areas are very pleasant. Unfortunately, it was way too loud outside of the building, it’s on a busy street and the walls are too thin. I couldn’t sleep.
