Beautifully restored historic building in a great location close to all the major sights. Great staff and an amazing breakfast. Room very nice but apart from some hanging space had no storage space for clothes.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly helpful and kind. The breakfast they serve is amazing (and huge!) with eggs, fruit,pastries and a number of Turkish dishes. Our room was huge and incredibly charming! Bed was very comfortable. They had tea and coffee in the room and a small fridge with drinks and snacks. You could walk from the hotel to ALL of the sites, it’s so well located for sites, restaurants and shopping. I strongly recommend this charming boutique hotel. You will love it! They even took a poloroid of us in the dining room on our last morning for use to keep. So sweet!

Deluxe Room

We stayed in the deluxe room at the top floor across the terrace and the room was lovely and spacious, with plenty of wardrobe space and a lovely private jacuzzi. Staff were really friendly and eager to help. Breakfast everyday was plentiful and excellent. Food was generally excellent (room service).

I can’t say enough about what an awesome experience my husband & I had at Hotel Miniature. The room was charming & clean. The staff were warm, friendly & hospitable. The location was within short walking distance to restaurants and the city center. We were pleasantly surprised by the breakfast feast included with our stay. The food was delicious and more than we could eat! From the roof, we enjoyed an incredible view of Hagia Sophia & the Bosphorus Bridge. We plan to return to Istanbul one day & we will definitely stay at Hotel Miniature.

Great location in very clean and friendly hotel

Very smart, clean and historic property. Only minutes from Sultanhamet square and tram stop. Lovely bathroom. Bed a bit low and soft for us but thats personal choice. Had suite room. For information there were no welcome drinks or fondue but we got a free sweet every day. There was no Netflix ( unless you had your own password??) No free soft drinks or sweets from minibar, price list displayed! Did not bother us as did not need these freebies but it may annoy some people. View from window poor but no big deal. Very noisy at prayer times but we were next to multiple mosques. Breakfast was massive, much of it uneaten on all tables, so a bit of a waste Lovely towels and bedding. Loads of hot water and toiletries Good air conditionong Well worth the money

Very good location. Walking distance to many major sights and near to restaurants. The area was safe and lively but not loud. Staff were helpful. They arranged a dinner cruise for us one evening and helped us with transportation back to the airport. Their breakfast was very good with fresh cooked eggs, fresh bread and many Turkish salads served with a variety of fruits and cheeses. The rooms, while smaller than I had expected, were very nice, clean and well decorated. The bathroom was stocked with shampoo, conditioner, lotion and a dental kit. Plenty of hot water and were very clean. I would definitely stay here next time. The location alone makes it ideal but the staff and the lovely rooms made it extra special.

We would like to thank the staff of Hotel Miniature for the wonderful time we had during our stay there between June 21-25. Everybody was so friendly, polite and accommodating! Always smiling and ready to help! Thank you nice people! The hotel itself it's a hidden gem in the heart of the busiest and most attractive part of Istanbul. It is located literally 5 minutes walking distance away form the main tourist attractions: Hagia Sophia, The Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and the Grand Bazaar. The hotel is very clean, modern looking and well maintained. Rooms are unique and offer everything needed for a relaxing stay when visiting Istanbul! Breakfast is a must, offering samples from the local food and more traditional foods at the same time. Once again, we have noting but praise for the staff of the hotel, no mater kitchen staff, servers, cleaning staff or the front office - they all were great and made us feel welcomed at any time! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Istanbul, especially for tourists visiting for the first time! Thank you Hotel Miniature!

"Following my recent visit to Istanbul, I would like to share my exceptional experience with the miniature hotel I have chosen. As a solo traveller, I carefully compared the options in Istanbul, and it really won my heart through online searches. My four-night stay last December exceeded all my expectations. First of all, the hotel staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was simply extraordinary, and the atmosphere created by the staff added a special dimension every morning. I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay, thanks to the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel's privileged location, in the heart of the old town and a few minutes from the tram, made my trips very convenient. The quality of the catering, the general atmosphere and the breakfast room were aspects that I particularly appreciated. The roof offering a perfect panoramic view for my afternoon telework sessions. I highly recommend this hotel at 100%. For an optimal experience, I suggest requesting rooms on the upper floors, thus avoiding possible first floor noises from the reception during the night. For me, this hotel undeniably deserves a 10 out of 10. Happy stay to future travellers!"

The hotel seems nice at first, but the longer we stayed the more disappointing it became. Our floors in the bathroom were never mopped and I know because one of us got cut on the first day, and a drop of blood was at the entrance to the bathroom. It was there for the duration of our stay. Amenities weren’t that great, like the iron/ironing board is table top, and we were always given two towels in a triple room. Breakfast was not great and on our last day there was no bread, cold eggs, and stale cereal. We didn’t eat that morning, but we were charged for ordering tea, which I think the hotel could have easily comped for the inconvenience of checking out hungry.

cute hotel run by unprofessional amateurs

This was a really cute hotel, but run by amateurs. The entire staff was comprised of young male Turks with no maturity or sense of responsibility. They did not respond to several of my emails asking to arrange an airport transfer. When the taxi from the airport could not find the hotel, the staff thought it was hilarious and began sharing this story amongst themselves. It was a clique and it made me uncomfortable. They had been too disorganized to respond to my emails asking for the airport transfer. The cleaning staff had no attention to detail always forgetting key components of making up the room like replacing towels or coffee. The guy running the breakfast, which was not very good, seemed really bored and wouldn't leave us alone to eat privately. I actually tried to book through the hotel directly but their website had IT glitches for booking on line, which is why I used hotel.coms. The hotel was already aware of this problem, but couldn't get it fixed at the time. This was yet another example of lack of maturity for this B&B. The rooms were really modern and stylish, but the bathroom was plagued with black colored mold. Bottom line, the hotel management seemed like they had no idea what they were doing at any level to include checking emails, running their website, cleaning rooms, offering breakfast, or customer service. They could use training in professionalism and customer service.

Tout d’abord l’équipe de l’hôtel miniature est vraiment douce chaleureuse respectueuse! Ils sont aux petits soins pour nous. La cuisinière nous prépare tous les matins dès spécialités dont l’omelette turque! L’hôtel est idéalement placé pour voir les monuments et surtout aucun bruit la nuit alors que nous sommes juste à côté de la mosquée bleue et du quartier touristique.
