Highly recommended this hotel the room was clean and comfortable, but I would say if you have issues with stairs request a lower floor. The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you. We had dinner at the hotel, great food and plentiful, the same with breakfast. The bar was good as well, old and had character. Great stay. Will definitely stay again.

Fantastic overnight stay. We were in the family room. We have a small baby so decided to take food up from the pub. Staff were so helpful they helped me carry it up without even asking. Really delicious dinner!! Lovely nights stay, great sized room, felt more like a little flat. Breakfast was brilliant, really delicious. Great stay!

Really good, if a little quirky hotel. The room was really nice - the one we had was in the top of one of the out buildings and was very clean and welcoming as well as being very quiet. The bed was really comfortable and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was very good too, although the portions were enormous! Good breakfast that arrived really quickly and piping hot. Overall couldn't fault it and we'll definitely be going back.

The bedroom and bathroom were spotless, Our room was large and on the ground floor with direct access to a secure grassed area for our dog which was perfect and much appreciated. All the staff were helpful and attentive. We had lunch, dinner and breakfast and all were very enjoyable. We will definitely revisit if in the area (and I don’t say that very often!) The location is in a pretty village. The pub is very old and full of character. The outside does look in need of a bit of a paint but our room was nicely decorated. The pub (and restaurant) were busy and I’m not surprised. Recommend

Our room was a bit grubby, thick dust on the carpet by the bed. Bathroom could do with an upgrade. As well as some shelving for the ladies to put all their creams and lotions on. Food was generally good apart from the eggs at breakfast, fried and poached both overcooked. Tried the scrambled as well which were awful. Stayed here twice now, not sure if we would again.
