Nicely maintained property
They wanted me to attend a timeshare presentation, which was really annoying and there was a $250 deposit, which was really excessive. Other than that the property was clean and well maintained. If it hadn’t been for these two points, I would have rate it a 5 of 5.

Love this property. But yhis time they held $250 on my card which is new to me. Last time i was there theu didnt required this. Also you have to pay $10 per day for WIFI and service is horrible. This made our stay unpleasant.

My initial impression of the place was “lack of management”. Then I realized that management is there, they are just confused. I thought I booked a hotel. Only to realize there’s no housekeeping or room service, and I have to take out the trash. Property is spacious, but outdated and cheaply built. Again, I thought I booked a hotel. Only to settle into an apartment complex and fall asleep to the sound of my upstairs neighbor’s loud snoring. Upon arrival, we encountered about 10 employees and NO one greeted us. The receptionist welcomed us to the “resort” and told us to make sure to take out the trash, do our own dishes, and see “the lady”. The lady proceeded to strong arm us into a time share presentation. No was not a good enough answer the first couple times. But she got the point eventually. I have no problem staying at a short term rental if that’s what is advertised. However, don’t welcome me to the resort and tell me to clean up after myself in one sentence. Not the best way to sell your time share. Management, it’s all about setting expectations. Make up your mind and quit calling yourself a resort.

Wouldn’t stay again
Checked in and was excited for the stay. When we got to the room there were wasps in the kitchen. Next morning there were more. Called the front desk as my girlfriend is deathly afraid and allergic, they said they would have someone take care of it. Left for the day and came back to even more wasps in the room. Called again and they advised no one came to the room. I again told them that my girlfriend is allergic and deathly afraid of them. At this point we wanted to leave. Checked out and they advise they would refund me the night, but I have yet to get a refund. The lack of response is absurd especially when they said they will take care of it.

BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS
My stay was good the only thing I would complain about is the towel situation. This is supposed to be a great quality hotel, but they are so stingy with the towels!!! Lower quality hotels give you more towels than this place. They trade in the towels one for one. First you have to call the front desk to let them know that you need more towels and then they tell you to leave them outside your door and then room service will take 20 min plus to go to your room and replace the exact amount of towels. Imagine if you are coming from the pool and then need to take a shower!!!

Great place to stay. Very quiet and clean. If you are staying for a few days bring a bag of coffee and cream, they have them for the first morning but you’ll want your own. Plenty of kitchen essentials are available including bottle opener and corkscrew. Great place and really quiet. Staff are very friendly and welcoming with great guidance if you haven’t been to the area before. It is about 10 mins from Kerrville and 35 mins from Fredricksburg. Lovely pool and area with BBQ facilities for the family.
