DIOBOLICLE
We arrived at 3am could not get in. Young man in back carpark saying he was the chef there said he could let us in as he got the keys but if we could just wait until he smoked his joint(his words)and that he was stoned(his words) his language and innapropriate inuendos infront of a woman i can only believe he certainly was stoned. After 8hour drive we just sat waiting we just needed a bed to sleep in. We got to the door then he seemed to have lost his keys in the grass and started shouting someone called luke to let him in. Stated he been chef in the hotel for 2years We ended up having to get few hours sleep in the car as travel lodge and premier all booked up. Went back to the hotel about 9.30 the following morning to see what had gone on and absolutely no one around front door open all the other doors locked up after sticking around for 10/15mins we left. The hotel itself looked lovely and clean from what we see through the windows downstairs. Awful experience. We left cumbria that morning.NEVER AGAIN. If they employ staff like that i honestly dont know how they are still trading
