Very convenient location on northern end of York St close to QVB building, the Woolworths near Town Hall, Westfield shopping centre, light rail station to Circular Quay and elsewhere, cafes and restaurants. The standard King bed room with ensuite on the 6th floor was excellent value during a recent Saturday evening stay on short notice. The service at reception was friendly and efficient with helpful reminders about Wifi password and how to access the hotel after 11pm. The receptionist did offer an extension of an hour on the morning of the check-out if required but on this occasion, I did not need it. Overall the room was clean. Good set of tall block-out curtains at the window. The ensuite was very well lit and modern. The ensuite shower rose was a lovely extra after a long day. The smaller shower head could have been cleaned better as it had three short hairs stuck around the edges of three nozzles, therefore avoided using it. There was evidence of dirt stains along the fixed bottom frame of the shower sliding door. Much appreciated two sets of hand towels, towels, face washers. The slippers, ironing board, iron and one cupboard door was missing over the cupboard containing the bar fridge. I would recommend staying at this hotel if rooms are available.

Great location close to all attractions with quick and easy check in

Extremely friendly and customer-focused reception. Not only do they remember me (a returning traveller), but also allow me to check in early to tie in with my needs. The room is clean and spotless, which, in my opinion, deserves a five star rating.

It was close to the trams in George Street. I was disappointed that there was no breakfast and also no warning prior to booking that they had stopped breakfast due to covid 19. There should have been mention of that on website.
