The room has issues of light and noise. I can hear slamming doors and the tv of the next room. The bathroom is nice as the bed.
Great hotel, located in the center of Santo Domingo. Friendly staff. Had dinner and breakfast which were very good. The infinity pool is very nice with a bar on site. Room was spacious and clean, the view wasn't great but all can't be perfect. Overall great hotel.

I think this is one of the best hotels in Santo Domingo City. Great location and great modern rooms. 👌
Food choices and quality have deteriorated. While changes in procedures due to COVID-19 are understandable, deterioration in food quality is not. Furthermore some changes in procedures could have been better implemented. To wit: 1. Food choices were reduced at both available restaurants (i.e. missing basic sushi ingredients). This is understandable. However what is not understandable is that the quality of what was avaliable is not up to prior standards. This was true for the sunomuno salad, and breakfast as well. 2. Procedures: The mini bar was empty in our suite. One would expect that at least some basic non perishable items be available. Everything required a call to room service, with the corresponding service and tip charges. The executive lounge was closed. This is also understandable. But if this is the case, at least provode some basic non perishables for guests who woul otherwise use the lounge given their room type or status. Lastly, if you are staying in a suite with included breakfast that would normally be served in the lounge, offer room service breakfast or at least a credit for room service (it is available at full chsrge). Staff were, as always, friendly and well trained. But we expected more. We had spent the prior two nights at a boutique hotel in Samana where everything was excellent despite having some closures (such as the beach club). And recently we visited a Small Leading Hotel in Punta Cana where everything was perfect.
