Clean overnight stay but lacked a few essentials

Easy to find and very good service. The room looked modernised and clean, and there was sanitizer stations everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful. Where it went wrong was no toilet paper in the room (this is a first), ice cold tea served for breakfast (seemed the machine wasn’t working properly) and bits of tin foil on my soda bread. The quality of breakfast was disappointing

Highly recommended.

First room was quite old and tired, we were moved to another room. Room had been renovated and it was excellent. Staff were so nice, manager an absolute gentleman. Food was excellent. Highly recommend it. My only suggestion would be to update the older rooms. Lovely old world decor, so appropriate for this old hunting lodge.

nice hotel with lovely grounds

nice hotel. Room was very large. For some reason, they gave us the accessible room, so it was larger than normal although we peeked into one of the rooms being made up and it was pretty large, too. The grounds were nice, and the view of the mountains was lovely. Plenty of electrical outlets, no safe though. Nice big windows although we did look out onto the parking lot which was fine as there were lots of trees there, too. Wi-Fi was free but slow. We didn’t eat at the restaurant that night but had breakfast the next morning. 10 euros each which was a pretty good price, and it was a great breakfast. Lots of parking.

I really wanted to like this place but I found little to redeem it. The service was difficult to track down on the three occasions I needed it. The room was cold, the television didn’t work. The place was clean and fresh but the bare bones are tired - old electrics, lumpy floors and a shower that has definitely seen better days. All in all it served a purpose as a place to lay my head and the setting was lovely but I wouldn’t be going back.

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. I'd say we will be back again. We arrived at 11pm. It was very hard to get the directions right. A few different places with the same name showed up.

We booked this last minute due to a change in trip plans and so glad we did! A lovely place with very friendly staff who shared tips on the area that made our trip even better. Very convenient to have a restaurant in house with several options for all ages.

Interior Quite grand for the size of this hotel

Tail of two stories, from the exterior this hotel looks a bit tired but the interior, particularly in the common areas is quite grand. Great Bar and restaurant and reception. Rooms are nicely appointed and the staff fall over backwards helpful and pleasant. One night on business and the price, great value, would stay again

ice place to stay and really nice staff.

Lovely place to stay. The lady who was running the bar was really lovely. Really cosy sitting by the fire. My TV was not working but it was sorted which was great. All my needs were met. it was very cold and dismal outside weather wise as such it was great to know I was in a warm friendly place to stay. Thank you to all the staff for my comfortable stay. I shall be back again.
