This resort was not what I expected. The level of service was poor. The staff members look you into the eyes waiting for you to greet. There are others who just rather socialize with each other. The food was trash. I’ve stayed at several resorts and hotels on the island this was disappointing. The lack of seed weed attention on the beach. The only thing that saved this hotel the rooms. The overall resort was clean. The service horrible the food horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this resort to anyone. I would never stay at riu or any other riu branch. Why is this rated over 4 stars that’s a lie.

The service was slow, Everything in the buffet taste like sea water, the resort was to small, I did not like the room, only one restaurant on the resort, I will never return to RIU Reggae resort.

I thought the property was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. The rooms were basic but had what we needed, a comfortable bed, a fridge, a safe and a TV. Bathrooms were fine as well. But we also had a beautiful view of the ocean. Food was good and the music was excellent. And the hotel did everything they could to make up for the covid restrictions. Will definitely return!!

Clean! Clean! Clean! All staff wore masks and took safety precautions very seriously. They reminded resort goers to wear their masks if they were not wearing one, use hand sanitizer and “stay safe mon”.

Resort is nice. Accommodations are clean and modern for the most part. Service was good. Food and Drinks are ok but could use a little improvement. Overall a good stay and would go again.

I had an absolutely wonderful time at Riu Reggae. The staff was warm & welcoming and the hotel & grounds were maculate. I wish there was more food available throughout the night but that’s about it. I’ll be back.
