The rooms that they advertise online are not the actual rooms that they offer you. The bedspreads have to be from the early 1980’s and the carpets are filthy! These rooms are completely outdated. The first room offered to me was freezing. The door was left ajar and the heat did not work. The entire heating/air conditioning unit was rusted out & broken. Someone’s child colored the walls with orange crayons…a Mr. Clean magic eraser would have been a simple fix. The second room they offered was just as bad, but at least the heat worked. The carpets looked like they’ve never been vacuumed, the corners were filled with dust as well as the light fixtures. I don’t know if someone allowed their dog to place shredded toilet paper all over the floor, but I’m thankful I had some slip on shoes because I’m sure I would’ve caught something from that floor alone. They say it’s a non-smoking facility, but all the rooms smell like smoke mixed with mildew or some other funky smell, I can’t even describe. This was just a last minute sneaky link, so paying $62 for less than 8 hours, I didn’t expect much, but at least they could’ve made it seem like they tried to clean up, a little. I used Lysol to spray down everything, but that still didn’t help matters much. Needless to say, I didn’t feel comfortable enough to sleep so I didn’t! Luckily, that wasn’t the point of my visit! The front desk staff was just blah, so I didn’t even mention the shredded tissue when the heat didn’t seem to bother him.
