I'm so glad I stayed at Dorado Eagle Beach! I wanted a kitchen (stovetop, sink, fridge, microwave, electric kettle, pots pans plates cutlery) to save money on eating out and avoid crowds. Restaurants can be pricey in Aruba. The supermarket I went to is about a 30 min walk away but it literally has everything and wasnt overpriced like the nearby mini markets. The room had everything I needed and was quite comfortable. There are some upgrades that can be done but everything is clean and functional. It's about a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach and it's just a straight path. There are beach chairs and towels available for pick up near reception. The beach has lots of palapas for shade and some spots also have lounge chairs available. If you don't rent a car, there is a bus stop nearby that will take you up to Arashi (passing Palm Beach on the way) and over the downtown area. Zucchini, the restaurant downstairs, was very good but remember to check out the prices before you go (many places have websites).
Pool and the pool area was lovely! Lots of seating and a grill.
I traveled alone and felt very safe staying here. Highly recommend and can't wait to come back!
