Stayed in ibis kievskaya for two nights.. great location.. 1 minute walk to metro and from there to anywhere you want.. breakfast is great.. close to a mall.. perfect for its price!!

Firstly, I was traveling with a friend and this hotel location was perfect for us and closed to metro just 1-2 mins walked but sadly the receptionist took us too long for checking in, we just had 18 hours long flight and had to wait almost an hour for them to be able to find our booking and they kept asking me to pay for the last night but I had already paid for it and had to wait them again to find out what I said was right. We had two booking for this hotel and second booking with a different room type so we had to come to get another room key card from them and again they asked me to pay for it, I was so frustrating with this situation why I had to repeat again and again and even more frustrated with them cause the staff that I was talking to at the first day since we arrived was there and don't even say a thing. Secondly, this hotel air condition won't working during autumn cause they said it's cold outside so air condition won't work, really????? please gave me better reason and I won't say a thing. I have given this hotel high rate because of the location and how clean there were. I hope they care what customer thought and improved what cause the problems.

Our room was not serviced one day, we came late and only good towels and an excuse that they will investigate tomorrow why the room was not cleaned. All other days we either got two small hand towels. Only after I completed they started to leave two towels per person but still only hand towels. The last day (of total 6) surprisingly we got two big bath towels. Very strange. Other than this the hotel is very nice and conveniently located near a big shopping mall, metro and train station

You get what you pay for
Nice enough hotel and location is convenient however local area isn't the nicest but the metro is 2 minutes walk. Room is fairly small but has enough stuff and is doable for a short stay. For the price you can't really beat it

Still a fine hotel, but...
I love this hotel! I stayed there 12 nights 2 years ago, and 13 nights this year. Unfortunately, there is currently massive construction going on in the neighborhood of all three of the hotels in the building: Ibis, Novotel, and Abaggio; making it a hassle to get to the Kievskaya metro station or to the Europe Center Mall across the street. I had an inside room, so the construction was not a bother, once I was inside the hotel.

Great hotel and convenient location
It is just next to the kievskaya metro and railway station. And a big shopping mall and supermarket is just opposite to the hotel. Taking metro is quite convenient in Moscow so it doesn't matter if the hotel is not close to Kremlin and other attractions.
