Riad Soliel D'or

We stayed at this Riad for 2 nights. Our hostess was very kind and accommodating, and was very open and accessible to questions we had about the area. Our room was clean, well-decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for two nights. Since we only stayed for two nights, we did not expect and were pleasantly surprised that they did housekeeping for our stay. Overall, it was a great experience. The location itself had its pros and cons. My girlfriend and I are in our 20s and did not mind the walking that was needed to reach the key attractions in the Medina. Everything was within 20-30 minutes of the hotel, and its location was calm and quiet at night being on the outskirts. However, for those who are more physically challenged or get lost easily, it may be wise to look for accommodations closer to the center of the Medina. Compared to other old towns I have visited, the Medina of Fes is particularly complicated with a lot of stairs to climb. That being said, the hostess kindly offers to help guests book guided tours if needed.

The stay was Google and everything worked as expected would recommend to everyone

It's a new Riad, clean and everything in perfect condition. The furniture is modern without loosing the Riad essence. It's perfect if you have car, because there is a parking in front of it. The staff is awesome, they care for you and gives you what ever you need. The best Riad ever.

Suad è una persona molto gentile e diaponibile, ha cercato di aiutarci consigliandoci ristoranti e monumenti da visitare, inoltre ci ha servito la colazione a qualsiasi ora. Struttura bellissima ed estremamente pulita. Vi consiglio di aoggiornarci da maggio in poi causa freddo.

C'est un endroit magnifique, on est directement projeté dans les mille et une nuits, très beau riad. Souad, la personne responsable, est aux petits soins avec chacun, très aimable et de bons conseils. De plus nous avons aussi eu la chance de goûter la cuisine, sur demande, excellent !! Vraiment un bel endroit où se ressourcer.

The Riad is beautiful and the staff very friendly, BUT we got the upper floor room, which was not very well thought for a fully new place. The room width is not big enough to fit a double bed with side selves and one of them had to stay in front of the bathroom entrance. The table lamp has no power out let available so we had to keep it off. The power outlet for the bed stands behind your head, which make us a bit worried about the safety of this thing. The AC stands over our head and an annoying green light was so strong at night that we had to put a black tape on it. Also the bathroom had NO DOOR, which means, if you don’t have such an intimacy as couple, better to schedule your time in the toilet. The hot water was A bit cold at night in the winter. The “eating room” had only 2 tables (for 4 rooms. whaaat?) and there is a strange sofa beside one of the tables with an useless TV that was hidden behind this same table. It is full of details, but a bit over decorated. After two nights we could not look at the walls and floor anymore. Too many tiles and contrast makes you stressed after a while. It is clearly made for decoration magazines and indeed looks beautiful at the first sight, but it doesn’t have the proper comfort that a real Moroccan Riad should offer. Beside all of the things, the location is good if you are with your car, but is still a bit dangerous at night. Not bad, not good.

Riad renovado e bonito. Boa localização, fora da Medina, mas perto, o que é uma vantagem em relação ao tumulto lá de dentro.

Fantástico riad, súper nuevo y muy cerca de la medina. Tiene un parking vigilado a 2 minutos. La decoración es preciosa, cuidada al detalle. Las camas cómodas y el desayuno muy rico. Además nos han tratado estupendamente, con todas las facilidades y siempre con una sonrisa. Puntos a mejorar: una funda nórdica en la habitación y una estufa en el patio para los desayunos en invierno.

Très bon Riad. Juste dans la chambre, ils seraient préférable que les veilleuses soient individuelles plutôt que communes. Peut-être prévoir des rideaux ou des petits volets? Sinon Parfait !

Très beau Riad, propre, très bien entretenu. Bien situé près de la vieille Médina, mais pas au coeur de celle-ci, et c'est ce qu'on voulait. Merveilleux accueil et beaucoup d'aide de notre hôtesse Souhad (j'espère que je ne massacre pas son nom...). Chambre confortable. J'y retournerai n'importe quand et le recommande fortement.
