Village Hotel Sentosa by Far East Hospitality

We took two family rooms for a night. The rooms were smallest I've ever stayed in. There was hardly any room to move around, not even space to put a small pack-and-play crib. Room service and housekeeping was practically non existent since they never answered the phone. You have to fetch coffee/ tea/ creamer sachets from a common area in the lobby. Bathrooms had fancy, digital fittings but they were not working in half the rooms. The only good thing was their pools. They have multiple kid friendly pools and a separate adult pool overlooking the harbor.

Found cooked rice grains on hotel rm floor. Ants on tv console, sink and side table on right side of bed. Waited 45mins to check in and 20mins to check out. Swimming pools were great though

24hrs deal was fantastic

We booked a family room which was a joint of 2 rooms. It is much smaller than what we thought. There's no bath in both rooms. They don't clean the bed sheets well while they make the bed. One of the day they only provide 3 towles for us while we have 4 people so have to call for extra towles. There's kids hangers, very useful. Swimming pool has activity/program. It's a shame that their bayside pool only allowed children over 16 years old because there is a bar. Was with 2 kids so couldn't enter. Should do some day time that no bar service available and let the parents who with kids can also enter.

Fabulous stay. Staff were friendly and attentive. We were offered a room upgrade upon arrival which was fabulous. Rooms were very spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean with great air conditioning. They were also very quiet. The pool area was lovely with free pool towels provided. Easy walk to Imbiah metro station which is free around Island or walk to nearest beach. Taxi to airport was very reasonable-paid $22 for 2 of us. Worth noting though that if you are using Taxis to travel ensure you give driver the postcode. Only downside was breakfast-we were advised that this was $30 each per day but somehow with additional undisclosed fees this amounted to $72 for two days. While I appreciate this isn’t much it is just not particularly transparent. Selection at breakfast was good.
