"Wat een prachtig verblijf plaats! Mooi in een middeleeuws toren met privé lift naar je kamer. Alles was op elkaar afgestemd en super leuk ingericht. Je voelde je net een jonkvrouw. Jammer dat er in de buurt niet veel was maar gelukkig hadden we onze auto mee. En de hond was ook van harte welkom. "

A thoughtful modern renovation of an old stone farmhouse set in a tranquil village overlooking vineyards. Our breakfast of fresh juice and fruits, cheese and a selection of salmon and cured meats was prepared by a very charming local woman. When I return to the region, I will definitely include this special small hôtel on my itinerary. "

"An incrddible beautiful old building with great history. However it is tired and very dated, tables in lounge frayed, paint coming off bedroom doors etc. It needs refurb, The dining area is hidden behind large meter+ square plant pots, not very romantic in such a building. Dining service was aweful but food good. The receptionist guy was incredibly helpful and even went out on the street to find parking for us. We have stayed there before but will not be back …"

"our original room was not very nice - hardly had a real bathroom - the shower was a closet as was the sink. we paid extra to get a different room and even this upgraded room did not have a bathtub also my husband paid for the spa circuit and both the jucuzzi and steam shower were not hot on the positive side - pretty views of the vineyard, and we enjoyed our dinner and breakfast. staff was very friendly"

"Hotel Pura Vida was a beautiful hotel nestled into a beautiful village in the middle of La Rioja. The staff were super friendly and lovely towards our 7 month old son. There is a garden out the back with lovely dappled sunlight and views over the village. We would definitely stay here again, if we ever return to the area. Thanks so much for a lovely stay."
