We chose the Island Inn for the location near to Bridgetown ( about 1 km and walkable along the Road and beach) and the beaches ( Peebles and Carlyle).
Not the most attractive area with limited hotels, dining options nearby but it was tucked away and very private in the grounds.

Their music was very, very loud but it stopped a few minutes after 12. Otherwise it would have been impossible to sleep. We had requested that one of our rooms have 2 double beds and got a room with only one bed. Could have been a problem if it hadn't been that they were sisters. It does state that they can't...

"My most memorable part of my stay at 'The House' is the employees.
Every one of them , from bartenders to restaurant staff were so kind and helpful in every possible way.
A few standouts were , Agnes and Pat ( kitchen ) and Kwesi who did so much to make the guests comfortable.
The rooms were exceptionally clean and the beach was beautiful. We also loved the gourmet food.
We're hoping to make it back here in the next couple years. "
