Big Fail! Red Lion Missoula should be condemned!
There was dried up food and stains on the shelf. Microwave was filthy, floor was even worse. Place was disgusting. I got a refund and went elsewhere. The clerk wasn't surprised to see me go that fast.

GROSS PLACE!
The person at checkin was fine. The person that moved us to a different room when after the first night we discovered the TV didnt work was fine. The bed and linens were fine too, surprisingly. That's where fine ended. There isn't one thing at this place that does'nt need maintenance! Grossest thing was the shower that filled with 3 inches of water, because the drain was filled with dried hair! Walls had peeling wallpaper, looked like blood spatter on walls, ceiling vent fan in bathroom was plugged with a towel, smoke alarm missing, closet doors didnt slide, heat ran for 30 seconds and shut off and on all night, smelled bad, my feet were black from the floor so I wore socks the entire time, this was in the room they moved us to, the first one was worse! We stayed because we were in town for a Griz game and had no other choice except our rental car.

Set from an old murder movie. Carpet was filthy and stained. Pizza left in fridge. Towels were stained. No hot water. Lock on door had been busted in at some point with new one installed above it. Dirty rooms, not able to shower due to hot water not working, when asked why it wasn’t disclosed to us at check-in, I was told “I don’t know”. I asked for a partial refund, and was told a manager would contact me, it’s been 6 days and I haven’t heard from anyone. We would not have stayed there if we were told there was no hot water to be able to bathe our children, and of course shower ourselves during our travels. Around 4:30am, a man was banging on our door, demanding to be let in, my husband had to tell him multiple times that he had the wrong room. We were traveling with our children, so that felt very uneasy.

We got there, and at first, it seemed pretty decent. We had been on the road all day so the first thing I wanted to do was take a shower. That's where it all went wrong... The shower was absolutely filthy, it looks to have not been cleaned in months. So I walked out of the bathroom and glanced around the room, there was dirt all over the door area, the walls, there were holes in the ceiling in both the main room and the bathroom, 3 or 4 flies buzzing around, and the blankets on the bed looked very old. We ended up having to leave for other reasons, however, we probably would have switched hotels anyhow. 1/10, would not recommend.
