Great location and great service
The property is a mix of dated and upgraded facilities(dining). The pool area is in good shape and the pool was heated to a very comfortable temperature. There is a small and very nice protected beach area. If you keep your eyes open you may see the roaming parrot fish. All the meals were well prepared and there is a lot of variety in menu items. Service is spot on. Room (King balcony) was sizable and with a nice view of the inlet. The rooms are a bit dated, however comfortable and kept most of the neighborly noise to a minimum. The resort is a great start point as buses in both directions collect there. A notable item that may a bit for those not use to it are the roaming chickens(and most of the island). You need to be expecting to hear roosters in the morning.

Property is excellent, food is great, loved that the room had plenty of electrical outlets and had a clock (very rare now for some reason). Loved the walking distance convenience to the cave tours. All-Inclusive is well worth it if you generally plan to stay on the property. I happened to love the many chickens on the property and the whistling frogs at night. Only gripe is that the Concierge was late, apathetic, and frankly useless.

Very close to the airport with easy access to bus routes going to Hamilton or St George. Not a lot of information given about amenities or events on check-in. The room wasn't super clean, floor in particular left socked feet very dirty upon check-in. One of my days/nights was very rainy and windy with rain water seeping in under my door. Rooms/suites are located in separate buildings, not all buildings have ice machines. Beverage vending machines are located outside and their contents are very warm. There's no information about resort amenities in the room and no pens/paper. I got conflicting information from front desk staff/bell hop regarding how far in advance to book airport cab and how early before my flight I needed to be at the airport.

The staff at Grotto Bay was amazing. They are very friendly and helpful. The resort was very clean and comfortable. One thing to mention would be to make sure you keep good records when paying cash or credit card. We had a charge on our room bill that we paid cash for. The resort did look into it and it was taken off. Other than that, it was a great vacation. Thank you Grotto Bay, we will definitely be back.

Grotto Bay is a terrific resort. Beautiful private beach with great snorkeling. Facilities have been updated (some still ongoing) and they’ve done a nice job - beds very comfy and rooms are nice - excellent ocean views. Staff very friendly and welcoming. This is our third time here and we’ll be back!
