K+K for the win!
We had a pleasant return stay at the K+K. Like before, we chose a room with a view of the Rudolfsplatz, and could admire the treetops and the houses opposite. The breakfast buffet was good, and the Cafe Melange a plus. The staff is nice and very helpful. And easy walk will take guests to Hoher Markt, Hofburg, the Stephansdom, etc.

Robbed in the hotel room
Someone from the staff got in the room with no reason ( it was a one night stay, did not require any housekeeping ) and stole my travel cash envelope ($1540). Front desk and management were nice and understanding, but that did not change the fact that staff STOLE from the room. BEWARE to put away all valuables. I find this even quite disturbing, never had anything stolen from my hotel rooms before...

Good location as a base but low-quality amenities
This hotel is fine as a base for exploring Vienna with a good location in Innerstadt (walkable to shops, restaurants, the cathedral, the palace etc). However it had far more of a budget feel to it than we expected. Very low quality towels, toiletries etc, a very basic room with minimal facilities, and the “bar” downstairs is just a couple of stools in the corner of the lobby. Not a hotel you would want to spend much time in other than sleeping!
