Nice to stay
Hotel is good and very clean the suite was very nice. The Only downside is they do not allow the tap to pay and I had my credit card the does not charge for foreign fee saved on my Apple Pay. Not for outside walking there not much to see in the neighborhood.

Ok but not great.
The cold water didn’t work. We had but bottles of water to drink the whole time we were there. We called to have it fixed and the repair man came only for a brief second saying that the cold water worked fine but as soon as we tried to pour a glass of water it was warm again. The water would get gradually hotter and taking a shower was cut short as it would also get too hot. We also requested they make the sofa bed and it was not made we had to call 3 times to get extra blankets. The sofa bed was more comfortable than the actual bed. Breakfast in the morning was mediocre at best.

All of the staff were very friendly and efficient from check in until we left. Our check in was great and the guy behind the desk was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean. The room had everything we needed. Being in Chinatown the area was very vibrant but very noisy at night. Nothing you wouldn’t expect with a city stay. We dinned downstairs at the Tiramisu restaurant our second night. The menu was limited but the food was excellent.

Good except one.. Noises outside are really annoying; motorway traffic 24H, big-size fan ventilation 24H and road constructions during day time.. Hilton must offer sound-proof windows..

8/10 Very Good

Had a five night stay first week of Sept 2024. The hotel's location was very good for walking to the Old Port, to Saint Catherine St, to the Metro subway. The hotel was very clean and the service was fine. Lots of places to eat close by. The Tiramisu restaurant off the lobby was very good. A special shout out to Raymond on the front desk who gave us great directions. The poor bits were: the Wi-Fi was horrible. I didn't pay for the higher speeds but used the basic free service, as I only wanted occasional email and no streaming. The Wi-Fi kept dropping ALL THE TIME. They appear to have the router set up to drop the connection if no activity within a few minutes. Every time I went to check my email I had to restart the laptop to get a connection. I was on vacation so not a killer but really unnecessary today. The connections shouldn't be dropped constantly. The breakfast was very average. I had the oatmeal one morning and it was cool/cold. The pans with the egg and sausages were often empty, as was the bread/croissant bin, and we were there within the first hour (6:30-7:30) before it got busy. Lastly, it was construction season in Montreal, so this wasn't the fault of the hotel, but the jackhammers were going at 6:30am every morning, so at least on the hotel side facing the front of the construction it was noisy all day long.

It's location to the old port was very convenient and most things were easy to walk to. However when we asked for extra towels or toilet paper, it took almost an hour before they were delivered.

The staff were very hospitable, we stayed on PH floor in a suite with balcony rooms. The rooms are spacious, parking is directly under the hotel so elevator up. Location is pretty close to Old Port, definitely walking distance. It was very rainy when were there in August so we didn’t get a chance to use pool or hot tubs or fire pits. Overall great place to stay.

8/10 Very Good

I reported a few issues with our room which were all promptly addressed. The oven was a big disappointment. We tried to have a late dinner to save money for a big dinner out. The fire alarm went off after we preheated the oven. Then it kept saying 'fail' and not working. Otherwise good place to stay.
