Good quality hotel and with polite and nice staff. Surrounding area is calm and almost countryside. Minus side of this is the lack of shops and restaurants in the close vicinity. But by bus or taxi it is easy to reach for example Mediterranean Kosmos shopping mall. Also this hotel must be good for travellers with a car.

Great hotel, I would definitely recommend. Bus stops just down the road easy access to the Ikea centre for good shopping and nice restaurants, Bohème is right on the water and a great place to eat.

Nice Hotel in nested in the Thessaloniki airport Foothills. it is a nice property with great views of the bay and the city of Thessaloniki. it could improve substantially if the premises offer a free shuttle back and forth to the airport. it would make the stay for travelers more convenient.

Great Hotel Near Airport
The Royal Hotel is fairly convenient to Thessaloniki Airport, a 10-15 min taxi ride that costs about 20-25 Euros. Getting there does require a bit of a crazy turn around due to poor street planning. Staff were friendly, breakfast was fabulous, the area was quiet. For me, the bed was a bit soft, but I like a hard bed. The beach and Peraia are close, but you will need a car or taxi to get there. Driving to Thessaloniki is about 25-30 min. Overall, this is a great place to spend a night coming or going to the area around Thessaloniki, but not really a destination in and of itself. I believe it was good value for one night near the airport.
