Great location, great staff in decent room
Staff friendly and very helpful and always available if you needed them. Great lounge areas in reception. Room was nice a big with desk and chairs, beds slightly hard but I prefer that too soft. Only downside is all the noises you hear within the hotel, so other people’s bathrooms, the A/C humming from other rooms from outside your room, ear plugs a must, very quiet once everyone’s asleep. Excellent location

Centrally located hotel with great service.
The hotel is located in an old building in the old city center only one block from the cathedral. Everything is in walking distance. The furniture was a bit old fashioned but the room was very clean and the two queen beds were a bit soft but still OK. The breakfast was pretty good. Last but definitely not least was the staff which was very friendly, supportive and prompt.

Excellent hotel in Paramaribo! Rooms are spacious, clean, comfortable, and modern. The place has a lot of charm as well. Rooftop terrace was under construction, but looked like it would provide an amazing view and great place to gather and relax with a drink. The hotel staff are warm and friendly - very helpful with suggestions and they really make you feel welcome. They booked transportation for our group from the airport to the hotel and were excellent in communicating regarding the transfer. Breakfast was delicious - I recommend the omelette Surinamese style! Overall a wonderful stay!

Felt especially unsafe when the sun went down. place is in a very lonely area with quite a few vagrants on the streets out side. There is a scotia bank a few buildings away, the stairs/entrance foyer seem to serve as an inn or sleeping place for the homeless.

Quiet and helpful
We stayed on two separate occasions. Good central location within walking distance of the river and restaurants, spacious rooms with air-con, good wifi. The hotel was very helpful in arranging a taxi transfer to the border with French Guiana (note the border is open week-day mornings only) and to Georgetown Suriname (note border is closed on Good Friday). Earlier than 14-30 check-in was not possible either time.
