Disappointed is an understatement!!
This is advertised as a 4star boutique hotel it was neither. It is the only hotel of the many we have stayed in Jersey that charges for parking in its own car park.If you booked directly you don't pay, according to their website,so not all guests are equal!!
The staff without exception couldnt have cared less, no welcome or friendliness, quite the opposite when we had to ask for additional items that should have been in our "suite" they argued about it and tried to justitems not being complimentary that you would normally expect in a 4 star hotel.
Poor quality buffet breakfast with no a la carte choices available!! Tiny bath towels that you couldn't wrap around(we are NOT large!!) Overpriced and very average afternoon tea served in a rather soulless bar/restaurant. The public areas might qualify as boutique but the bedroom and bathroom certainly weren't, looking very dated with chipped furniture,saggy sofas and very basic bedding including poor quality pillows. The housekeeping was hit & miss,they never replaced the extra towels and bath mats we asked for and the decaf teas and complimentary water on some days. You just got fed up of having to ask for misding items. Poor management and lack of customer service and satisfaction is the main problem there!!
